劉亦菲出生於西元1987年8月25日湖北省武漢市同濟醫院。
當時父親為武漢大學教授（之後任中國駐法國大使館教育處一等秘書、巴黎第七大學的「孔子學院」院長），母親為國家一級舞蹈演員。
劉亦菲的母親在懷孕時看了「茜茜公主」這部電影，故替劉亦菲取了小名「茜茜」。
1995年，8歲的劉亦菲參加中南商都第二屆《童花盃》童裝模特大獎賽獲得冠軍。
後來父母離婚，原名安風的劉亦菲，隨母親姓「劉」，現名改為「亦菲」。

Liu Yifei was born in Tongji Hospital in Hubei,the Chinese Animal Zodiac is Rabbit.
Her birth name was "An Feng".She is an only child. Her father is An Shaokang (安少康), a 1st Secretary in the Chinese Embassy in France and a French language university professor, while her mother is Liu Xiaoli (劉小莉), a dancer and a stage performer.
Liu Yifei's mother watched the movie "Sissi" when she was pregnant, so she gave Liu Yifei the nickname "Xi Xi".
When Liu Yifei was 4 years old, her parents divorced. Originally named An Feng, she adopted her mother’s surname "Liu" and changed her legal name to Liu Yifei (with "Liu" as the surname and "Yifei" as the given name).
In 1995 only 8-year-old Liu Yifei to participate in China and South Africa are the second "flower child Cup" model children's Grand Prix title.
When she was 11 years old (Liu Yifei's mothers said：1998), Liu Yifei and her mother moved to New York City, Liu Yifei lived there for four years. In those four years she went to Middle School 67 Louis Pasteur.
